Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Disiplin Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Se-KKM Kecamatan Ciamis
Abstract
The leadership of the madrasah head is a very strategic and important factor for maintaining and improving teacher discipline, because the head of the madrasah has the authority to manage and manage his subordinates including teachers. Teacher discipline is also determined by teacher work motivation. This background is the reason for this research.
The purpose of this research are: (1) To know and analyze the influence of leadership of madrasah head to teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis. (2) To know and analyze the influence of teacher work motivation on teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis. (3) To know and analyze the influence of madrasah head leadership and teacher work motivation collectively to the teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis.
The research method used is descriptive-correlational, namely descriptive research that aims to determine the magnitude of the relationship between variables. The data were collected by interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Data were analyzed by statistical analysis, ie simple correlation test and multiple correlation test.
The results can be concluded as follows: First, the results of statistical tests show that leadership of madrasah heads positively influence the teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis. This conclusion is obtained based on the correlation test that yields the correlation coefficient of 0.875 (very high correlation). Therefore, the better the leadership of the madrasah head, the better the discipline of the teachers. Second, the test using correlation test shows that the motivation of teacher work has a positive effect on the teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis. These results are based on the acquisition of correlation coefficient of 0.787 (high correlation), so the higher the motivation of teacher work will be the higher the level of their discipline. Third, the leadership of madrasah head and work motivation of teachers together have a positive and significant influence on the teacher discipline on Teacher Discipline in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Working Group of Ciamis, with correlation coefficient of 0.889 (very high correlation), so that the leadership of madrasah head and teacher work motivation together. equal to 79.1% influence on teacher discipline.
