STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM BERBASIS GENDER (Penelitian di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Muta'allimin Cilendek Kota Tasikmalaya)

Abstract

In essence, strategies are needed in various aspects of life to achieve goals effectively and efficiently, including learning. Islamic educational institutions in society ideally serve the needs of Public with give teaching, and also functions as a reforming agent include the community, following changes in society and providing solutions to the confusion and socio-religious problems that exist in society. The data shows that the dominant proportion of women in the world's poor segment correlate daccording to their educational background. Three-quarters of the world's illiterate population are women, and two-thirds are Asian women. The gap in access to education causes the low participation of women in following various paths, types and levels of education. Further impact, women have not been able to contribute more in various areas of community life than men. Pesantren as educational institutions, religious institutions and social institutions have a major role in disseminating gender-based Islamic religious education. Islamic religious education in Islamic boarding schools plays a major role in shaping the religious understanding of the people, including understanding gender in an Islamic perspective. Therefore, there is a need for an assessment of gender-based Islamic religious education learning strategies in Islamic boarding schools.


The purpose of this research is toto identify the gender concept used in the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School, Cilendek, Tasikmalaya City, to find out the learning strategies of Islamic religious educationbasedgender equality in the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School, Cilendek, Tasikmalaya City, as well as to explore the results of gender-based Islamic religious education learning strategies at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School, Cilendek, Tasikmalaya City.


The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The paradigm or approach taken by researchers in this study is the naturalistic paradigm, therefore data analysis is carried out simultaneously with data collection. To get the research data, the researcher used descriptive method.


The results of the research on gender concepts that are understood and practiced in gender-based learning at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School Cilendek are moderate gender concepts. Islamic education learning strategies at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School Cilendek include learning planning strategies, learning organizing strategies, learning implementation strategies, and learning evaluation strategies. The results implementation of gender-based learning strategies at the Raudlatul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School Cilendek is to produce a civitas and pesantren graduates who understand, behave and have gender fair skills in various fields of life.
