Pemikiran Pendidikan Islam Abdurrahman An-Nahlawy

Abstract

This article examines the educational thinking of Abdurrahman al-Nahlawi which resulted in several findings. First, the general thought-Nahlawi An Islamic education in general rests on four views: (1) education is an activity that truly have goals, objectives, and targets. (2) educators true and absolute is God. (3) the realization of education requires a tiered program through increased education and learning activities aligned with uphill systematic sequence that brings children from a development to other developments. (4) the role of an educator should be in accordance with the purpose God created it. Second, the source of Islamic education according to An-Nahlawi is the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. The basics of Islamic education based on the Islamic view of human nature, the universe, and the nature of life.
