PENGEMBANGAN MODEL MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM BERBASIS PENGUATAN KARAKTER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Character education in Islamic religious education in schools, including at the elementary level, can indeed be understood easily because in fact Islamic religious education does not only fill students with Islamic religious knowledge, but also forms the character of students who are definitely in line with Islamic religious teachings, because one source of character, especially the character of the Indonesian nation is religion. SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City is a school that has implemented an Islamic religious education curriculum based on character strengthening, so students at SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City have excellence in Islamic religious education, both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
Based on the background above, the main objectives of the research are formulated, namely to analyze: 1) To analyze the planning for the development of a character-based curriculum management model for Islamic religious education to improve the quality of learning at SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City. 2) To analyze the implementation of the development of a character-based Islamic religious education curriculum management model to improve the quality of learning at SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City. and 3) To analyze the results of developing a character-based Islamic religious education curriculum management model to improve the quality of learning at SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City.
The research method used is a qualitative method. Specifically, the descriptive method used is a case study. In the context of this research, a case study was conducted to reveal the development of a character strengthening-based Islamic religious education curriculum management model to improve the quality of learning at SDN 4 Muktisari, Langensari District, Banjar City.
This study concludes that: 1) Planning for the development of a character-based Islamic religious education curriculum management model to improve the quality of learning in Muktisari 4 Public Elementary School includes firstly internally and secondly externally, 2) Implementation at SDN 4 Muktisari including First, integrated in subjects that are documentally included in the syllabus and Learning Program Plan. Second, integrated into the local content that has been determined by the school. Third, it is integrated into self-development activities which include extracurriculars and habits, 3) The results of this study are first, the development of students' attitudes increases by 90%, secondly, there is a significant increase in their psychomotor aspects, for example, they begin to diligently carry out the Duha prayer , and third, students' report card scores are 100% above the KKM.
