GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KARISMATIK KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MEMBENTUK KEPRIBADIAN PENDIDIK DI MI NURUL AMAL CIKAWUNG KABUPATEN CIAMIS
Abstract
Madrasah head is the main driving force in applying Islamic values in educators. The Islamic values that are meant in the form of a positive attitude that is strongly embedded in the educator's personality. The phenomenon that appears today is personality deviation in educators caused by the lack of understanding of educators towards Islamic values and the lack of coaching for educators about Islam. Charismatic leadership style is the main capital that can be used by the head of the Madrasah in shaping the personality of the educator. The purpose of this research is: first, to find out the charismatic leadership of the head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Amal; secondly, to find out the personality of the educator in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Amal; third, to find out the strategies and obstacles of Madrasah heads in shaping the personality of educators in MI Nurul Amal Cikawung Ciamis Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interview, and documentation. In this research, data validity test was done by using triangulation technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive narrative. The data collection procedure uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research are: first, the leadership that exists in the head of MI Nurul Amal Cikawung Ciamis Regency is charismatic leadership. In carrying out his duties and responsibilities, the head of MI Nurul Amal Cikawung of Ciamis Regency set an example to his subordinates by displaying positive attitudes, among others: visionary in thinking, daring to take risks, creative, humble, expert in communication, authoritative, and not easy to give up despair; second, the personality that appears in the educators at MI Nurul Amal Cikawung, Ciamis Regency, among others: discipline, sensitive to updates, alternative thinking, diligent in working, trying to get good work results, fair, honest, objective, open-minded, creative, authoritative , be exemplary, and have solid personal integrity; third, the strategy carried out by the head of the Madrasah is to create coaching programs, among others: coaching tahsin Al Qur'an, personal Islamic coaching, and coaching through whatsaap. Meanwhile, the obstacle found by the head of the Madrasah in shaping the personality of educators is that there are some new educators who have not yet been able to adapt and have not fully understood the rules at MI Nurul Amal Cikawung.
