MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’ÂN : ACTION REASEARCH PADA KELAS PROGRAM UNGGULAN KEAGAMAAN MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 2 TASIKMALAYA MELALUI PROSEDUR REFLEKTIF-KRITIS

Abstract

Nowadays, many Islamic educational institutions include the Qur'an tahfidz curriculum in their learning activities, one of which is MAN 2 Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. However, in practice, students are faced with various problems when participating in Tahfidz Al-Qur’ân  activities. Among these problems is the lack of memorization skills. Researchers think that students' memorization ability still needs to be improved in order to obtain maximum results.


The purpose of this study is the first, to analyze how the memorization ability of the Qur'an of students of class XI and XII of the man 2 Tasikmalaya religious flagship program before the implementation of reflective-critical measures. Second, is to analyze how the memorization ability of the Qur'an of students of class XI and XII of the MAN 2 Tasikmalaya religious flagship program after the implementation of reflective-critical measures. Third, to analyze can a series of reflective-critical steps improve the memorization ability of the Qur'an of students of class XI and XII of the man 2 Tasikmalaya religious flagship program.


This research is a qualitative research with action research designs that are popularly used in research in the field of learning. The type of action research in this study is educational action research which focuses more on improving the quality of learning in the field of education.


The result of this study is the ability to memorize the Qur'an for students of class XI and XII of the man 2 religious flagship program of Tasikmalaya Regency after the implementation of reflective-critical measures has an average value of activeness in memorization of 81.14, the average value of tajwid and fashahah is 82.51. Then, the average value of the number of memorizations was 87.05. Finally, the average score of fluency in memorization was 82.69, an increase of 4.91. A series of reflective-critical steps in the form of providing motivation, mapping memorization skills, ziyadah and muroja'ah programs, strengthening memorization skills, activities of the Qur'an Tahfidz Expo, and munaqasyah tahfidz Al-Qur’ân  exams are very effective, evidence can improve the memorization ability of the Qur'an students of class XI and XII of the MAN 2 tasikmalaya regency religious excellence program.
