STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN TAHFIDZ AL QUR'AN BAGI ANAK USIA DINI (Penelitian di RA Darul Amira, Cihaurbeuti, Ciamis)
Abstract
This research is motivated by a polemic among early childhood education experts about education and learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood. Based on this polemic, the study seeks to elaborate on the education and learning of tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood from a psychological perspective.
This study aims (1) to determine the concept of early childhood tahfidz al-Qur'an education; (2) to find out the psychological review of tahfidz al-Qur'an education for early childhood; and (3) to determine the significance of tahfidz al-Qur'an education for early childhood in terms of psychological aspects.
This qualitative research uses the literature review method. The data is collected by reading, understanding, and reviewing books, journal articles, research reports, scientific forum proceedings, and encyclopedias. This research was conducted from February to July 2022 since the researcher submitted the title, compiled the proposal, collected data, and analyzed the collected data.
The results showed that: (1) the concept of learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood was responded to by three different opinions: positive-optimistic, negative-critical, and positive-critical. The positive-optimistic view views that learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood can be done to obtain gifts and rewards from Allah, both for children who memorize it and for parents and their families. The negative-critical view states that learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood is a strenuous activity, no matter how short the verses are memorized. The third view is a combination of the first and second views. The last view states that tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood can be done with a note that the learning is fun and exciting, does not cause children to be depressed cognitively and mentally, and does not contain excessive competitive elements. (2) From the aspect of educational psychology, learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood, which is carried out following the principles of the psychology of early childhood education, can help to develop children's personalities who are religious, confident, self-motivated, and humble. (3) Tahfidz al-Qur'an education for early childhood in terms of psychology has two significances, namely internal and external. Internally, learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood can develop the personality of early childhood following Islamic values, namely love for Allah, love for the book of Allah (al-Qur'an), and love for the Prophet Muhammad, who receive revelations from God. Externally, learning tahfidz al-Qur'an for early childhood will bring benefits to religion (taking part in maintaining the sanctity of the Qur'an) for parents, families, and society.
