Konsep Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam: Studi Terhadap Pemikiran Pendidikan Ibn Khaldun
Abstract
Ibn Khaldun’s thought in various disciplines has never stopped investigated. This is because Ibn Khaldun is a thinker who not only mastered one discipline alone, but also on a variety of disciplines including science education. The study in this article shows that Ibn Khaldun’s thought on Islamic education includes two things, namely about the meaning of education and educational purposes. Meaning of education according to Ibn Khaldun is a process to produce output that leads to the development of human resources of high quality and highly disciplined. Meanwhile, according to Ibn Khaldun there are three levels of educational purposes: (a) the development of proficiency in a specific field; (b) acquisition of professional skills in accordance with the demands of the times (and the material environment); (c) development of good thinking. (2) Ibn Khaldun’s thought about educational curriculum rests on two main views: curriculum materials and methods of Islamic education curriculum.References
