Abstract

At MT. Al-Muhtadi Junaedi, a method of learning the Qur'an was developed so that all levels of society are protected from illiteracy of the Qur'an, because at this time mainly mothers who are elderly, they still have a lot of time to work together. 'mother wa lah wun and play digital. They should be diligent and tenacious in reading both at home and in MT. according to a predetermined schedule. And they realize the importance of learning the Qur'an even though they are old, old age is not the end of learning but to the grave. This is based on the assumption that understanding is an early stage of learning that can affect subsequent learning. In order to study well, you need motivation. Motivation is an impulse within a person to do certain activities in order to achieve certain goals. With the LIBAPT method, it is hoped that the better the understanding of the ta'lim assembly women about the science of recitation, the higher their motivation in reading the Qur'an.


Research objectives: 1 To determine the level of ability to read the Qur'an of the MT congregation. Al-Muhtadi Junaedi, Nagarawangi Village, Cihideung District, Tasikmalaya City before the LIBAPT method was applied; 2 To determine the effectiveness of the LIBAPT method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at MT Al-Muhtadi Junaedi. 3 To find out the advantages and disadvantages of the LIBAPT method in MT congregations. Al-Muhatadi Junaedi


The method and approach used in this study is to use a qualitative descriptive analysis method.


The results obtained from this research are: first, the ability to read the Qur'an in MT. Al-Muhtadi Junaedi before using the LIBAPT method had various abilities, some were reading haltingly, some were reading not knowing the laws of reading, not being able to read letters correctly, the character of khuruf and reading in tartil, not being able to appreciate the reading. Second, the application of the LIBAPT method by recognizing hijaiyah letters, recognizing punctuation, understanding, appreciation, and practicing, the congregation is greatly helped in learning the Qur'an, especially the elderly congregation, the results are greatly improved as evidenced by the number of people who are able to read well . Third, the LIBAPT method has advantages, 1 there is a close and harmonious relationship between the teacher and the congregation, 2 teachers are easy to supervise, assess the congregation directly, 3. guide the maximum ability of the congregation, 4 if the congregation can read but does not know the law, then he invited to read in accordance with the order of reading the verse. 5. Congregants get an explanation directly from the teacher. While the shortcomings of this LIBAPT method, among others: it takes a long time, requires patience, craftsmanship, perseverance, tenacity, and discipline of a teacher. Do not know hijaiyah letters first like children who are just learning.
